Welcome to the second installment of our “Meet Your Advisor” series! Today, we’re thrilled to introduce Marjorie Wentz, a Senior Wealth Advisor at Trinity Wealth Management. Before joining her husband Charlie at Trinity, Marjorie owned several businesses, including 3 Curves franchises and a custom sign business. With a strong dedication to supporting people, she joined Trinity Wealth Management to help fellow entrepreneurs plan for retirement. Marjorie’s career is driven by her commitment to empowering others and fostering financial confidence in her clients. Let’s take a closer look at her journey, personal insights, and the experiences that shaped her approach to financial advising.
Q: What impact do you hope to have on your clients’ lives, and how do you want to be remembered by them?
Marjorie: One of my early summer jobs was teaching tennis in Chatham, MA, and I found fulfillment in helping the kids improve their game. That same satisfaction comes from helping clients with financial advice and watching them live their dreams! My hope is to provide valuable guidance that gives my clients the confidence and peace to achieve their financial goals.
Q: If you could go back in time and give your younger self one piece of financial advice, what would it be?
Marjorie: Start saving early! My father, who was a math professor, always encouraged us to save and practice “dollar cost averaging” by saving regularly. While I listened to him a little, I wish I had done more. I also wish the companies I worked for had offered stronger savings programs like 401(k)s. Many of our clients who started saving early have accumulated substantial wealth over time—it’s a powerful habit to start as early as possible.
Q: Outside of the financial world, what are your hobbies or passions? How do these activities influence your approach to work?
Marjorie: Family is my biggest passion! I love spending time with my husband, our children, grandchildren, parents, and extended family. My focus on family gives me a strong sense of compassion, which I bring to my work. I hope that both our employees and clients feel that same compassion in their interactions with me.
Q: Can you share how you’re involved in your local community or any volunteer work you’re passionate about?
Marjorie: I’ve been a Rotarian for over 20 years, thanks to the encouragement of a good friend. Rotary is a service organization, and it opened my eyes to the needs of both our local community and the broader world. Giving back is one of the greatest joys in life, and I’ve loved being involved with various nonprofits—whether it’s serving on a board, volunteering my time, or contributing financially. I hope to make a positive impact wherever I can.
Q: Is there a new skill or hobby you’ve recently started or wish to pursue? What inspired you to pick it up?
Marjorie: I’ve recently started playing golf! I’ve been a tennis player for most of my life, but golf has a unique charm—you can play with people of different skill levels and still enjoy the game together. Charlie is much better at golf than I am, but we can still have a fun round together!
Q: How does your family background or traditions influence your values and way of life?
Marjorie: I grew up with wonderful role models in my parents. My mother never gossiped or said an unkind word, and my father taught me to imitate the good in others while avoiding negative behaviors. He also made me believe that I could achieve anything I set my mind to. I strive to be the kind of example to others that my parents were to me.
Marjorie’s dedication to her family, community, and clients shines through in everything she does. Drawing on her entrepreneurial background and personal experiences, she brings a unique perspective to financial planning, particularly in helping small business owners and families navigate their financial journeys.
